Under general supervision of the Director of Administrative & Support Services, in addition to CUNY Title Overview, the Administrative Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support with the daily operations and administrative aspects of the department. He/she will assist with the administrative activities and daily operations of the Electronic Document Management System while maintaining a high degree of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality in all matters.
In addition, the Coordinator will also perform the following duties:
Assist with the daily operations and administrative aspects of the department
Review, prioritize and respond to requests submitted for images and records for the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) Files.
Assist with the processing of day to day activities for the Electronic Document Management System.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, scope and standards involved in the implementation of the EDMS program for the various departments within the college.
Coordinate maintenance of the college?s Electronic Document Management System.
Use SharePoint 2010 and 2013 to create site content, custom metadata, views, site column and content types with SharePoint.
Retrieves, allocate space, and stores electronic and backup files and records.
Coordinate and facilitate training for support staff as well as future end-users of Electronic Document Management System and SharePoint.
Train and supervise part-time staff.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Familiarity with Electronic Management System (EDMS) and SharePoint preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills.
Supports projects, initiatives, and activities that impact an academic or administrative department.
Manages basic office functions such as communications, meeting schedules, work plans, staff assignments, and distributing information.
Collects data for, prepares, and distributes reports and presentations using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
Updates office databases, lists, and files to ensure completeness and accuracy; maintains current information on department web site(s); maintains department archives and collections.
Conducts internet and/or database research and performs basic systems queries to locate information related to department activities.
Maintains department fiscal plans and budgets; assists in budget administration and invoice processing.
Provides basic information, instructions, and materials as requested by students, faculty, and others who contact the department.
May supervise office staff and student workers.
Performs related duties as assigned.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
