Compliance Administrator

The Compliance Administrator will provide support to the Compliance Officer, Compliance Manager and Project Compliance Coordinator. This position will prepare all reports associated with training, assist with the reporting of M/WBE Participation, Workforce Utilization and Payments to M/WBE firms. This position will further provide the necessary support to prepare for meetings of the Compliance Personnel. This position reports to the Compliance Manager. This position must demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication, computer and client service skills.
What You'll Do:

  • Assist with the monthly agency reporting of M/WBE and Local Firms;

  • Assist with the monthly agency reporting of workforce;

  • Maintain quarterly report for M/WBE training records;

  • Calculate training statistic percentage completion rates.;

  • Assist with submittal and documentation of M/WBE solicitations;

  • Coordinate Outreach events;

  • Document and respond to emails and phone calls from M/WBE firms;

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products;

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;

  • Ability to multi-task;

  • Good math/accounting skills;

  • Functions effectively as part of a team;

  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times;

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills;

  • A two-year college degree in accounting/business, contracting, or construction management is desired but equivalent experience in these fields will do.

  • This position requires the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and/or at a project office, excellent verbal and written communications skills, and strong computer skills including advanced excel skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
